If you're looking for a woodland camping experience in the west side of Yorkshire, Woodsworth Exploring has you covered.

Individual camping plots are situated throughout the well looked after wood and give a real sense of wild camping, but with the convenience of a decent toilet block and running water. The woodland owners also understand that camping and camp-fires go together, but you do have to bear in mind that you're camping in a protected wood, so there's no cutting of live trees or burning of any deadwood allowed.

It's a great spot to hone your Boy Scout skills, before saddling up and exploring the magnificent lanes of Yorkshire the next day.

Biker's Note: You can't park your bike next to your tent as it's a protected woodland, so no vehicles are allowed. But there is a gated carpark just next to the camping plots, so your bike should be safe for the night.
